Title: Pretty Instinct ( A Finally Found Novel)
Author: S.E. Hall
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Hosted by: Buoni Amici Press, LLC.
“If opposites attract, then I am nothing. Because you, you are everything.”
There’s no easy road traveled to such an intense sentiment, one I never dreamt I’d feel…
But I also never planned on Cannon Blackwell climbing aboard my tour bus.
I read this book in 2014 and Love it!
Pretty Instinct by S.E. Hall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Instinct ~ inborn intuitive power, a natural and apparently innate aptitude.
The author has me wrapped around her little finger since I first read
Emerge and I can’t get enough. Her newest, Pretty Instinct a mixture of angst, insta-love, wanna be rockers and family drama held me hostage to the very end.
I don’t want to giveaway any spoilers as you need to experience and feel what each character has to offer.
Liz/Elizabeth/Lizzie has a split personality. Loyal and loving to her best friends and fellow band-mates Jarrett and Rhett and rabid and unforgiving to her father Richard. She would step in front of a Mack truck to protect her older brother Connor.
You will like Connor, a child in an adult’s body.
The Foster brothers, Rhett and Jarret are as protective of her as she
is of them, their bond developed out of need from when they were teenagers.
Cannon Blackwell, the one who was dumped on the side of the road and
scooped up by Liz will set your heart and pulse a pumping!
Cannon and Lizzie are attracted to one another and the sexual tension is enough to have you taking a cold shower.
"Love the way your body talks to me. I want you too, my little Siren."
Oh, yumminess, not only can Cannon play bass guitar his words of love are lyrical as well.
Hot, steamy and delicious body quivers will have you licking your lips
as you flip through the pages when Cannon plays Lizzie’s body like a bass strung around his waist.
You can’t help but despise Liz’s father, he appears to be a ruthless, cold snake of a man.
The name of their band cracked me up (C.U.N.T), See You Next Tuesday.
I’m hoping to read more of Jarrett and Rhett. I’d like to see them move the band forward into stardom. Jarrett and Vanessa need an ending and Rhett needs to find his own woman or man.
One Negative, I didn’t like Cannon’s words and personality described as “Cannonisms”.
There is only one “ism for me; Sawyer from the Emerge Series.
